Speaking Engagement: OECD Forum, The Netherlands

Speaking Engagement: OECD Forum, The Netherlands

I’m pleased to share that I’ll be speaking at the 2026 OECD - OCDE Global Forum on Local Development, taking place on 27–28 May in Maastricht, the Netherlands.

As international trade and global value chains are reshaped by new technologies, geopolitical tensions and environmental pressures, this year’s Global Forum will explore how communities can manage these shifts to deliver better jobs, stronger firms and more inclusive local economies.

Set in Limburg, a living laboratory of cross‑border cooperation and industrial transition, the Forum will focus on navigating trade shocks, supporting worker transitions, strengthening locally rooted production, and keeping local economies competitive and resilient.

I’m looking forward to contributing to these discussions and learning from peers from around the world. I'll be joining a panel: Solution Lab 2 - Forging new identities amid disruption.

It would be great to see you in Maastricht! Learn more, register, and check out the agenda here.
